English artist Damon Hirst, known for his frozen blood head sculptures, and whole sharks preserved in formaldehyde has done it again, he’s managed to shock us all by using a real human skull for his latest art piece Called, “For the Love of God” his new work consists of over 8,601 diamonds, weighing a total of 1,106.18 carats, covering the entire surface of a platinum cast of a human skull (retaining the original teeth), with a large pink diamond sitting in the center of its forehead, valued at $4.2M alone.
